"Eight teachers including our Principal from our small, PK-Grade 8 religious school in northwestern Wisconsin took a "Positive Behavioral Interventions & Support" course through SCT during spring/summer of 2013. As a result of the course, we learned much about PBIS and now we are continuing to develop and plan to implement a PBIS system. The instructor, Tammy Berg, worked with us along the way, and was extremely flexible in allowing us to work on many of the course projects as a team. Thank you Tammy! The Office of Distance Learning at Andrews University offers graduate courses for teachers that need to satisfy their Professional Development requirements. As reported by U.S. News and World Report, Andrews University is one of the most culturally diverse universities in the nation, with over 800 students representing 98 countries, as well as affiliation and extension programs offered in some 17 countries. They are accredited by the North Central Association of Colleges and Schools. The School of Education is accredited by the State of Michigan Board of Education, the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education, the National Association of School Psychologists, and the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs. The Michigan Department of Education has recognized our undergraduate Teacher Preparation as one of the top teacher education programs in Michigan. They apply the same care and diligence to their Professional Development courses.



The University makes available a broad array of credit and non-credit courses, seminars and workshops through the Division of Continuing Education. Some programs are offered on campus and others at off-campus sites more convenient to persons living outside of Pueblo and southern Colorado.
